Ryota and his Giro frame out skidding
Totally love this photo, you can feel the speed and the set up of the ride is not your average build, The fat carbon rim at the back with a rear brake, sugino 75 crank, the nitto stem and then the pretty high risers on that. Looks super fun to ride. Photo credits: Brenton Salo

POC- Trabec Race, a new Swedish helmet
POC has two new helmets that will be good for urban riding 2011. The POC Trabec race and Trabec. The Trabec Race has a bit more aramid  reinforcement which is a form of kevlar. The helmet has the shape of a skate helmet but the 16 vent holes together with some deeps groves inside the helmet will give you very good air flow so you don’t bake your brain. The good ventilation will also help...

Remember your first bicycle? it was probably a...
Many of us might remember the first couple of bicycles we got growing up, but what many people tend to forget is that it was in most cases a hard core fixed gear machine. We loved it and road it every day, rain or shine. I spotted this beauty in an alleyway in Shanghai a couple of month ago.

Bicycle vs Car in Stockholm
Saw this post a long time ago and I was happy to find the link again this weekend. If you live within the green area you can reach the middle of Stockholm within 30 minutes. Pretty similar to the amount of time it takes with a car, I do however not know if they calculated the time to park your car etc. Besides the time you also save money and do not need to spend your free time on the treadmill....

SEABASE vs SIMPLON Super8 from BRASCONA on Vimeo. Here is a new version of Patrick Seabase’s ride up and down Simplon, this time captured on Super8. I think it takes some guts riding that kind of mountains considering there is a lot of snow surrounding the road. Spotted over at Paticks own blog

I first spotted this Wald basket 2009 outside bluelug in Tokyo, I snapped a photo of it and now we are very happy that we have it in our store. Guessing from the picture we choose a slightly smaller model which we think will fit your bike better. Wald baskets are made in USA, in fact the company was founded before the good old T-Ford hit the road, back in the day when the majority of the...

My bike got stolen and I do not know why!?
Too many times people get their bicycles stolen just because they do not use the correct lock or do not lock the bike to something. We have just ordered lots of good locks from both kryptonite ( the classic mini U lock ) and some new colorful locks from Knog, Please if you do not have a good lock, spend some extra money on a good lock. We should have them in early next week.
