Totally love this photo, you can feel the speed and the set up of the ride is not your average build, The fat carbon rim at the back with a rear brake, sugino 75 crank, the nitto stem and then the pretty high risers on that. Looks super fun to ride.

POC has two new helmets that will be good for urban riding 2011. The POC Trabec race and Trabec. The Trabec Race has a bit more aramid reinforcement which is a form of kevlar. The helmet has the shape of a skate helmet but the 16 vent holes together with some deeps groves inside the helmet will give you very good air flow so you don’t bake your brain. The good ventilation will also help keep away bad smell. The Trabec comes in sizes xs-s, m-l, xl-xxl. For more information head over to POC

This is a good old Monark trainer securely locked up by its owner in Malmö last year. I wonder if it’s still there…
SVENSSON x Bikeid from SVENSSON on Vimeo.
We started to discuss with Svensson last autumn and now we can see the fruit of the work they put in to the project to create a Svensson bicycle using the bikeid frame and components as a starting point for their creativity. Well done boys!
Svensson also produced one of the best jeans I ever owned, simple black jeans with a bit of stretch, perfect when riding your bike!
We at bikeid wich you a happy easter and lots of riding!

Soundtrack, Traffic and 5th Floor will organize a a fixed gear championship @Eurobike Looks like a nice event if you are heading over to the fair. You can rsvp via facebook
Apart from the fixed gear event, if you have time and have not been to Eurobike we can highly recommend it, a couple of days with bikes, friends and german beer can never be wrong right?

Many of us might remember the first couple of bicycles we got growing up, but what many people tend to forget is that it was in most cases a hard core fixed gear machine. We loved it and road it every day, rain or shine. I spotted this beauty in an alleyway in Shanghai a couple of month ago.
